mind body training - pilates classes
Private sessions are specifically catered to each individual client. Matwork is incredibly effective for strengthening the body, opening joints, and stretching and elongating the muscles. Occasionally props are used, but it is mainly performed with the client utilizing just their body and the mat to perform the exercises. The Reformer works with spring resistance, making every movement controlled and safe for the body. An hour on the Reformer is definitely an intense workout, yet it is completely safe. Lasting benefits of either technique are increased overall flexibility, healthier joints, stronger muscles, improved posture resulting in less chronic pain, and a calmer state of mind.
Private sessions are for anybody and everybody, but they are especially useful for those with severe or chronic injuries. Because the client can work privately with a certified instructor, the workout not only is tailored for that specific client, but is considered rehabilitation for the injured area.

single class drop in welcome. 3-class new student special, 5-class passes, and 10-class passes are also available.
Based upon the concepts developed by Joseph Pilates, this series of mat-based exercises will strengthen the abdominals, glutes and lower back. The perfect injury prevention addition to any fitness goal, and is great for participants of all fitness levels.
