The Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) is a measure of the number of calories your body consumes at rest. By directly measuring your RMR and the type of fuel you burn, namely fats or sugars (carbohydrates), the RMR serves as the foundation for prescribing your daily nutritional requirements and exercise program to maximize your performance.
