Dee Wright

Dee has lived in Charlotte since 1987 and is a Registered Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance and completed her Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training with Stephanie Keach. Dee has taken many workshops with internationally known teachers such as Baron Baptiste, Cyndi Lee, John Friend, Erich Schiffmann and Bryan Kest. She holds a BS degree in Communications from Queens University, volunteers with Threads of Love and is a Certified Reflexologist. Dee’s favorite workout is Yoga classes with Litsa here at CAC! Her secret passion is Key Lime Pie ice cream from Bruster’s.

Amy Johnson

Amy has lived in the Charlotte area for most of her life. She taught figure skating and ice hockey for 8 years before deciding to get into the fitness industry. Amy enjoys kickboxing, horror movies, being spontaneously adventurous and SLEEPING!!!

Alice Furr

Alice was born and raised in Charlotte, and currently lives in Matthews. She received her training in Charlotte and has been teaching group exercise classes in the area for over 15 years. Pilates is her favorite class to teach, but she does enjoy taking cardio classes, too. Alice also enjoys gardening and jumping on the trampoline with her 5 year old son.

Ron Zurinskas

Ron has been teaching Cycle, Yoga, Pilates and Abs classes for 10 years. He lives in Charlotte with his wife Natalie, daughter Hannah and son Julian. When not busy with international business travel and family, he can be found doing elite bike races or triathlons, a competitive age group run or finding some inner peace with yoga. Guilty Pleasure is India Pale Ale and the higher the gravity, the better!

Shannon Wightman-Girard

Group Exercise Coordinator

Shannon is a native Charlottean and a former ballet / modern dancer. She has been teaching fitness classes such as Athletic Conditioning, Cycle, Sculpting, Abs, Funk and Pilates for over 15 years throughout the local area. Shannon loves NFL Football and her favorite “self-induced workouts” are dancing, boxing and Pilates. In her spare time she can be found painting, goofing off with her daughter Kaitlin and son Josh, or geekily watching either the Science or History Channel!

TJ Milewski

TJ is originally from Ithaca, NY, and is both a personal trainer and group instructor at CAC. He specializes in Functional Training, enjoys teaching Athletic Conditioning style classes, and secretly hopes to train Will Ferrell someday!

Jim Guimond

Jim has been teaching fitness classes and personal training for more than 10 years. He is passionate about both indoor and outdoor cycling, and enjoys spending his down time camping with his wife and daughter. Guilty pleasure … Chocolate!

Megan Gelabert-McGee

Megan is originally from Tallahassee, FL. (Go Noles!) She pursued her BFA in Dance for two years at Florida State University, and then relocated to New York City, where she danced professionally and received her certification in Pilates mat and apparatus under Jennifer Kries/The Method. After moving to Charlotte three years ago, Megan has established herself as a 4th generation Pilates instructor at Iron Butterfly Pilates and Charlotte Athletic Club. She loves cooking, seeing live music, and hanging in her neighborhood of NoDa. More than anything, she is looking forward to one day teaching her newborn daughter, Avery, the joy of movement in Pilates, yoga, and dance!

Janet Risner

Janet hails from Ohio where she was a fierce competitor in dance competitions and pageants for more than 20 years. She developed a passion for physical fitness and became an AFAA certified instructor teaching step, kickboxing, conditioning and cycle. When she’s not jet-setting around the US with her full-time job, she enjoys judging dance competitions, pageant coaching and watching the Food Network with her hubby-to-be.

Karen Coston

Karen is originally from upstate New York but has lived in Charlotte since she was a child. She graduated from UNCC, is a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist and has been Personal Training for the past year! In addition to working out in the gym, Karen enjoys doing yoga, Zumba and practicing belly dancing. In her spare time she loves spending time her boyfriend, friends and family.
