resting metabolic rate testing

The Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) is a measure of the number of calories your body consumes at rest. By directly measuring your RMR and the type of fuel you burn, namely fats or sugars (carbohydrates), the RMR serves as the foundation for prescribing your daily nutritional requirements and exercise program to maximize your performance.

RMR testing is painless and non-invasive. After an 8-12 hour fast and a 30 minute relaxation period prior to testing a mask is worn for 15 minutes to measure oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production.

V02 testing

Take the guesswork out of training and exercise more scientifically.

This test is a gauge of your body's maximum energy output at peak performance and establishes your unique heart rate range for recovery, endurance and interval training.

Results from a V02 test help you train more efficiently for an event, increase your tolerance for high intensity workouts and perform at a higher level.
